Distilled and bottled by hand by Goodtown Spirits Co. SANGUE DI CIGNO is your one-shot negroni in a bottle with dark fruit character — brooding, bittersweet, and utterly drinkable.
Creating this was a labour of love, being a blend of house-distilled gin, fermented beetroot and artichoke leaf, and an intense herbal maceration of sage, wormwood, rosemary and much more in apple eau-de-vie. Blended together and rested partially in barrel for 4 years prior to bottling.
Pour 45ml over ice into a chilled glass, stir three times and add a dash of club soda. Finish with a wedge of orange or lemon.
For a bespoke aperitivo cocktail, replace the club soda with 15ml of your spirit of choice - eg gin, tequila, mezcal, or aquavit.
